The parallel layout is probably the most efficient and the better idea as opposed to other layouts, however you can only use this if your cooking space isn’t too small. The way the design is built, you would find that there are two parallel rows against opposite walls. You would need a lot of room to make this work, you could convert one of the sections to the wet section and the other to the dry one. If you like you can turn one of the walls that doesn’t have the platform below it, into an island by adding the cabinets on it.
